Magnus Hirschfeld

Magnus Hirschfeld was a prominent German figure, born in 1868, who made significant contributions to the field of sexology. As a physician, he developed a deep understanding of human sexuality, which informed his work as a sexologist. His expertise in this area led him to become a vocal advocate for the rights and acceptance of the LGBTQ community.

Hirschfeld's advocacy work, however, was not without consequence. In 1933, the Nazi government revoked his German citizenship due to his outspoken support for the LGBTQ community. Despite this setback, Hirschfeld's legacy as a pioneering sexologist and LGBTQ advocate has endured.
