David Pevsner

American actor and singer-songwriter

David Pevsner is an American actor, singer, dancer, and writer who has made a mark in the entertainment industry through his diverse talents. He has appeared in various theatrical productions, including the 1990 revival of Fiddler on the Roof and the 1991 revival of Rags. In addition to his acting career, Pevsner has also showcased his skills as a singer-songwriter, contributing to the musical Naked Boys Singing! with three original songs, including "Perky Little Porn Star," in 1999.

Pevsner's work in film and television has primarily consisted of minor roles, although he has had notable appearances in certain projects. He played the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge in the 2012 film adaptation of A Christmas Carol, titled Scrooge & Marley, and portrayed Ross Stein in the 2011 web series Old Dogs & New Tricks. As a solo performer, Pevsner has written and produced two one-person shows, To Bitter and Back in 2003 and Musical Comedy Whore in 2013. He has also released a music album, Most Versatile, in 2016, whose cover pays tribute to Bruce Springsteen's iconic album Born in the U.S.A.
