Kirill Gerstein

Kirill Gerstein is a renowned Russian-American concert pianist, distinguished by his exceptional talent and accomplishments in the music field. Born in the former Soviet Union, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the global music scene, currently residing in Berlin as an American citizen. His impressive career has been marked by notable achievements, including being honored as the sixth recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award.

In addition to his performance career, Gerstein has also dedicated himself to educating and mentoring the next generation of pianists. From 2007 to 2017, he taught piano classes at the Stuttgart Musik Hochschule, sharing his expertise with aspiring musicians. In 2018, he expanded his academic involvement by taking on the role of Professor of Piano at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule in Berlin. Furthermore, he is also involved with the Kronberg Academy's Sir András Schiff Performance Programme for Young Artists, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing young talent and contributing to the development of the music world.
