Lauren Bernofsky

Lauren Bernofsky is a prominent American composer, recognized for her diverse contributions to the music field. Her compositions encompass a wide range of genres, including solo, chamber, and choral music, as well as larger-scale works for orchestra, film, musical, opera, and ballet. Initially trained as a violinist, Bernofsky has developed a particular affinity for writing music for brass and wind instruments.

Her Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra, for instance, has become a staple in audition and recital repertoire, and has been featured in the International Trumpet Guild's journal.
